The Magic Flight

"Rama realized the urgency and turning to Vibishana asked, 'Is there any means by which you can help me return to Ayodhya within a day?' Vibishana said, 'I will give you the Pushpak Vimana...It will take you back to Ayodhya within any time you may wish.'...They flew over mountains and forests; every inch of ground had a meaning for Rama," (165-166).



In this step Rama is able to return to the start of his journey without taking the time and effort required the first time. This allows Rama to get back to Ayodhya in a timely manner to stop Bharatha from taking his own life.
